Today, RSi is proud to say that 22 of the top 25 global CPG companies use RSi to turn daily downstream data into actionable insights into the store and onto the shelf.
We’ve made great strides on the retailer side as well. RSi retailer collaboration programs build a single version of the truth and establish a more productive and effective relationship between retailers and suppliers, large and small, across all categories. The programs provide suppliers with greater visibility into consumer demand, enabling better collaboration with retailers in achieving business goals and providing customers with the highest service levels.
Collaboration is not new – it’s been around since long before the first Thanksgiving when Native Americans and Pilgrims partnered to create a harvest celebration, casting aside differences to enjoy the fruits of their season-long labor. RSi takes collaboration between retailer and supplier to a new level, from sharing downstream data to true teamwork – with RSi cleaning, harmonizing, and optimizing the retail data so that the CPGs can better execute and consumers can have a better shopping experience.
RSi is thankful to be on the forefront of a rapidly changing industry experiencing one of the greatest changes in shopping to happen in the last 25 years – the empowerment of the individual shopper. With round-the-clock access to prices and product availability right at your fingertips, coupled with the ability to shop and dictate preferred delivery, the relationship between consumer and brands is changing, requiring that brands take a more customer-centric approach to marketing and begin to touch consumers, in a highly personalized way, at every point in the path to purchase. We are excited and thankful to work with visionaries like Gigwalk and MaxPoint who are helping brands better understand their neighborhood shopper and what’s happening in the local store and on the shelf.
With these changes to how consumers shop, how brands market, and how data is gathered and shared, RSi is building a new set of use cases that leverage new data sets and business challenges and a robust technology infrastructure that can support massively parallel systems processing multiple types of data and huge data sets quickly.
